Launch Campus learning
Launch Campus was created from a core belief that young people start their learning journey with great curiosity. Our commitment is to honour this and to provide each student with the means necessary to discover their own potential.
The environment at Launch Campus encourages students to develop their sense of self as they understand their abilities to be lifelong learners and changemakers of the world.
The Australian Curriculum forms the framework for a negotiated, project-based curriculum that is designed to foster natural learning.
The curriculum is characterised by an emphasis on depth over breadth. Interdisciplinary in approach, intellectual and social thinking aspects will flow throughout the curriculum, promoting questioning and creativity across five essential streams: Literacy, Numeracy, STEM, the Arts, Health and Wellbeing.

Our educational objectives are to:
Develop confident, responsible, independent learners, who have emotional awareness and skills to express themselves and ask for what they need.
Develop a school that generates a love of learning, by understanding each student’s unique learning style.
Be student-centred, with a teaching and learning program that aligns education to student interest.
Develop opportunities for real world learning and an education that embeds core foundation skills.
Create a learner-driven community, with serious commitments, genuine relationships, and real accountability.
Provide a learning experience defined by Project-based learning (PBL) – a student-centred pedagogy that involves a dynamic approach in which students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem.
Allow for play-based learning - a widely recognised pedagogy, and which also forms the basis for Victoria’s Early Years Learning Framework.
